There have been many changes in my life. I had gastric bypass (RNY) on September 22, 08. I weighed 254 at that time. I have lost 70 lbs and still losing. This is a tool and how I use it will determine how thin I get. I will know when it is time to stop when I get there. I am losing it slowly now. It is seven months out. I would like to get down to around 155 and hope to do that by my anniversary date of Sept. 22, 09. I love the way I feel and wouldn't change anything. I look good in what I wear now. I can do things I haven't been able to do in the last 25 years or more. I have a new lease on life and have so much to be thankful for.
My husband had Esophageal cancer. After Chemo, radiation, and then removal of most of his esophagus and half his stomach the cancer is gone. The doctor said his is a success story. He is healing slowly and still having problems from damage to his lungs and a little Phenomonia, and Bronchoectisis. He uses oxygen 24/7 but is showing more progress every day. I can't wait for us to be able to travel and enjoy more things together.
