I’m Patricia . . . from a small town in Northeast Texas.

I am making a commitment to myself to better my healthy because I am tired of being out of shape and I deserve better! I have always been the self-conscious person, always wondering who was staring at me and why? How fat did I look in a certain outfit, etc. I am 38 years old and can honestly say I have never felt “beautiful”.

It’s time for that to change! It’s time to for me to take time for ME and become the person on the outside that I want to become!

It’s time for changes in my life; I want to be healthier and happier! I want to set an example for others around me that living a healthy and happy life can bring joy to you; along with inner peace.

In my spare time I love photography, collecting cookbooks and recipes, and spending time at the barn! I even dabble in scrapbooking when I get the chance. Yes, all the horses on my SparkPage and in my photo album I own or have owned in the past.

Thanks for stopping By...I know what you mean about lost motivation. For those of us who are just not "naturally thin"...we do have a tougher time of losing and then maintaining. And then it's harder to stay motivated when the deadly plateaus hit. I look forward to being your weight...(I'm at 206.8 right now.) and that's down from my high of 273. And I'm 5'4" and 58 y.o....all conspiring to keep me around my current set point of 205-206... AND it's hard to CONTINUE stay motivated to lose 120 lbs or so...

Do a search for ~INDYGIRL. She's the massively inspiring gal here...she's lost over 250 lbs. (which is just amazing!!!) and she continues to go past her own plateaus, issues with movement and medicines that are making her gain weight. Her blogs always pick me up...

Good luck in reaching your goal. You can do it.
