I've always been a fan of ice cream, chocolate, and pizza, but after paying some closer attention to my health, and the health of those around me, I decided it was time to start (finally) following my doctors encouragments to eat right, exercise, and be healthy.

My Goals:
My first (superficial) goal is to drop enough weight so that I can fit into my wedding dress again. After that it's just maintaing a healthy weight by exercising and eating right.
My Program:
I've changed my diet. I drink water almost exclusively; I'm more aware of the snacks I consume, and I watch my serving sizes at all meals. I try and exercise daily (M-F) in the weight room where I work; I put in 15-20 minutes of cardio followed by 15-20 minutes on strength training machines.
Other Information:
I'm a bookworm by nature, so the being active thing is kind of new. I teach and that takes up a considerable amount of time all year long.
