I am trying to lose weight so that I can get close to my high school weight. I am not proud of what I let myself get to and have not had the will power to change my appearance. I haven't wanted any of my old high school friends to see me like this nor people that I worked with in the past. I used to always tell myself that I would never let myself get to be like this and I am worse than what I said I would not become. If I don't like myself, how can anyone else like me?

To have a friend, be a friend.

I am DONE being the fat girl.

I am DONE letting food run my life.

I am DONE not carrying about myself.

I am DONE feeling sorry for myself.

I am DONE letting other people influence me.

I am DONE letting other people make me feel guilty.

I am DOING this with my daughter and together we can accomplish anything, because we are STRONG women.

Free yourself from negative people. Spend time with nice people who are smart, driven and like-minded. Relationships should help you, not hurt you. Surround yourself with people who reflect the person you want to be. Choose friends who you are proud to know, people you admire, who love and respect you – people who make your day a little brighter simply by being in it. Life is too short to spend time with people who suck the happiness out of you. When you free yourself from negative people, you free yourself to be you – and being you is the only way to truly live.

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.
Attitude, to me is more important than facts.
It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than success, than what other people think or say or do.
It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill.
It will make or break a company...a church...a home.
The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.
We cannot change our past...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way.
    We cannot change the inevitable.
The only thing we can do is play on the one thing we have, and that is our attitude.
I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.
And so it is with you...we are in charge of our attitudes.
