Doing what it takes!

Hi! I am 39, married with 3 kids. I put on alot of weight over the past 7 years. I was sort of active but not enough to compensate for eating a whole bag of chips watching TV. After I lost my job, then a year later my truck & our house in the same year, and moving back home, I just packed on the pounds.

So after breathing hard to walk up the hill to get to our new/used truck, dying from walking up the stairs to take a shower or visit dad, I decided it was time to do something ...

After I lost my job, then a year later my truck & our house in the same year, and moving back home, I just packed on the pounds.

So after breathing hard to walk up the hill to get to our new/used truck, dying from walking up the stairs to take a shower or visit dad, I decided it was time to do something about it. My sister knew I was going to start trying and she told me about SparkPeople. It has changed my life!

I am determined to loose this weight. It is going to be GONE!!!

The kids are great support!. The rest of the family has been pretty supportive. When I feel no motivation I come to SP and my teams.

SP ROCKS!!

Jan. 2013-- I lost 102 lbs and some of it has creeped back on. For the past 2 years I have been running more and the weight keeps creeping on. I am up 4 lbs since Jan. 2012. I can run 14 miles now but my weight is stalled.

August 28, 2013- discouraged, not working out, not eating the best. I am weighing in at 264.2. So not in the right direction!!!

LONG TERM--
Weigh 200 or less by March 9, 2011 -- down to 230.6 lbs i n1 yr.

New goal weigh 200 by June 9th, 2011 - Made it to 221.4

Newest goal: weigh 187 by August 1, 2013. lose 52 lbs.

Sorry your out...of the challenge...but that dose not define you.. you have really worked hard and come along way and sometimes our bodies have mind of their own and the weight dose what it wants to do.. keep up the good work and hope to see you on another challenge

Thanks so much for checking out my blog: another NSV-

I was just going to write about the ordeal and then I thought "it was so much easier than last time" and loosing some inches and pounds was the trick. Although I would rather not have to do that- it is good to know that I can without as much fuss.

Now I have gone back and added a couple of more things- there really is a lot involving a car once you start thinking of them!
