Hello 2014!

So 2013 wasn't the best year for me. I turned into a total slacked and am ending the year weighing more than I did when it started. It's a little less than 10 lbs, but still...that's unacceptable.

I still want to make the healthy lifestyle "thing" work for me. I will never give up. I will keep starting over as many times as it takes to get it right. I will not be perfect. I will make mistakes. I will eat too much. I will exercise too little. But I WILL get back up, dust myself off, ...

My Goals:
- end each month weighing less than I did when it started

- not be out of breath when walking up stairs or a hill

- have more energy

- Make healthier food choices.

- Minimum 10 fitness minutes a day.

Personal Information:
I work as a Corporate Travel Specialist and really enjoy my job and the company I work for. I have been in the travel industry since 1996 and have seen many ups & downs!

I am also a part-time Circuit Coach at Curves. I love it there!

Other Information:
I love walking outside when the weather is decent. There's just something about heading outside with some music and breathing in the fresh air!

I love to read. Christian Fiction and the Twilight series are my favs.

I recently read "Working With You Is Killing Me". What a fantastic book. From now on I will be "unhooking" myself from unnecessary drama and negative situations. I am going to "get healthy" from the inside out!

Hello Tiffany, thank you for stopping by and giving me some extra motivation! I'm still careful with my monthly step goals because from time to time my arthritis keeps me from walking much, but the 10K team goals always make me go for a bit more! Have a successful month of August!

Thanks for your encouragement, thought I just do a monthly total. Do I have to update every day? Since I already do it on my tracking it seems redundant and quite frankly I don't have time. Don't want to let the team down... emoticon

Hi! Thank you for the welcome back on my page, I know it has really been quite a while. I had some serious foot pain for months and really could not walk all that much. But doing much better - acupuncture was my cure :-)
