"Well, in our country," said Alice, still panting a little, "you'd generally get to somewhere else... if you run very fast for a long time, as we've been doing."

"A slow sort of country!" said the Queen. "Now, here, you see, it takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place."

My Goals:
My measurable goals for 2013 include:

-lose 5 lbs of fat
-gain 5 lbs of muscle
-improve shoulder mobility (I have a specific test I hope to pass)

My general goal for 2013 is to become stronger, faster, more agile, and more coordinated while remaining injury-free.

My Program:
I am following the precision nutrition system for healthy eating.

I am strength training with kettlebells (RKC hard style), free weights, and body weight exercises. I am running a little (barefoot), working out on the stairmaster, and doing Z-Health for joint mobility.

Thank you for commenting. You don't know me very well but I tend to be the annoying person who makes light of situations or finds the silver lining when nobody wants to. :)

That said, facts is facts but let's not miss the funny!

I went to the site proper and see it's a nutrition / fitness training.

I have a multitude of food intolerances and allergies that are over-seen by medical doctors... I don't eat grains, dairy, citrus, nightshades, sprouts and more. You don't want to enter my world!

You'll find an easier pupil/ client in virtually anybody. Good luck with your business.

Thanks for the article. I'll read it when I can.

I have congenital lupus, severe arthritis and fused vertebrae (amongst other issues). I had outpatient surgery and am scheduled to start physical therapy next week. Depending on how it goes, the bad is spine surgery.

Either way, this is chronic. They say my spine is equal to somebody twice my age (I'm in my 40s). I'm a fairly active gal but all I managed today was 1+mi walk & I'm going to try some bodyweight exercises in a few minutes....although I'm not supposed to!

The fusions were from age 15, so this isn't 'new,' I'd just ignored it til it needed immediate attention (lost the use of my dominant arm).

Thanks for your interest.

One dr says 30 days rest. Another says if you can do it, do it.

I went out today with a gentle warmup, planning on trying a light jog. Ain't happening. Forced myself to gingerly walk 1.1 miles & I'm whipped!
