I'm a 39 year old Mom of three kids, two girls and a boy. I've been married to a wonderful man for 17 years.

After losing 19 pounds on SparkPeople about a year ago, then gaining it all back again, I am renewing my resolution and restarting my weight loss journey to become a healthier me.

After losing 19 pounds on SparkPeople about a year ago, then gaining it all back again, I am renewing my resolution and restarting my weight loss journey to become a healthier me.

My passion is singing, and am looking for more ways to bring honour to Jesus in this way. My husband and I are members of our church's Worship Team and I sing backup and he plays electric guitar every Sunday. We feel the Lord leading in this ministry together and we await His direction for the right doors to open.

In October of 2012 I began homeschooling our children. This has been a very rewarding challenge and I enjoy having our two youngest home with me, while our oldest just started Grade 9 at our local high school this year. Our children have adjusted well, and are eager to continue, while I strive to give them the best possible in all aspects of education as we walk in the direction the Lord is taking our family.

"Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path." Psalm 119:105 NLT

My Goals:
My first goal is to lose 29 pounds. After that, I hope to continue watching what I eat, and hopefully will lose a little more.

My Program:
My main method of weight loss is food control; tracking everything I eat so I'll make smarter choices, as well as cutting portion sizes. I'm hoping I can start implementing a bit of exercise as I get to a more comfortable weight and start to increase my energy level.

Personal Information:
I live in a small town in Ontario, Canada with my wonderful husband and three beautiful children.

Other Information:
"All I have is what God gives and that's all the life that I was meant to live." ~John Reuben

Hi!!! I've been kind of absent from spark too.....was using it in an unhealthy way so I had to take a break. I've got 6 months of abstinence from my eating disorder!!! HUGE HUGE deal for me. All in all I'm actually doing really well. What about you? thank you so much for the message....trying to ease back in to spark but use it in a healthy way and not as a way to let my eating disorder creep back in.

I agree. Taking baby steps take you farther than you realize. Besides it's easier to stick with small changes. Before you know it you'll be running with the torch again! Speaking of running....my husband and I are running with our kids tomorrow in a kids race.

Sounds good to me. Thanks for the comment. I actually completed a full week of my DVD...it's the first time since fall. I did have a few workouts at odd hours, but I got it in. What are you working on?
