My Goals:
1) Eat balanced meals, concentrating on getting enough protein, fiber and calcium in my diet.

2) Maintain my weight.

3) Change my lifestyle to include regular exercise for a stronger heart and body.

My Program:
I am looking to build a stronger body, including a stronger heart and maintain a weight in the range of 120-125 lbs. I will do this through regularly weight training at home (dumbells) and cardio that includes Wii Fit, hoop dancing, walking, step ups and occasional machines at the fitness center.

When I made the Wii Fit comment I didn't realize that you were doing a hoop thing till later when I saw your page. I have never been able to hula hoop in my life...until Wii Fit LOL! I'm actually the Wii Fit champ at hula hooping (in my house!). After I commented on your blog I did go get on our Fit. I probably hadn't been on since Jan/Feb. I was SHOCKED to find out that I have lost 18 lbs since the last time I was on. Shocked because I hadn't really TRIED to lose weight. Your post reminded me that the Wii Fit isn't just a training tool, it's also a tracker. I even beat my own record on something yesterday. Thanks for reminding how great the Fit is!

Welcome, Traci!

I am happy with my current weight I don't want it to go far down ... can lose a few inches, though (it's a lifestyle) ... but I had lost a handful of pounds and inches that were regained last winter, and continued to do so, with getting onto Spark early this year.

So, for you as a happy maintainer, in order for SparkPeople to work for you, you have to realize that there are many chances given in life. Living healthy is a mental game. Balance and attitude have improved in my life as a happy, contributing member of Spark's Community Team.

In any case, you work the chance that is given you by:

emoticon Revising your SparkPage when you need to
emoticon Joining and Staying active on your Teams
emoticon Continuing to read Blogs that catch your Eye
emoticon Reading the Daily Spark

www.DailySpark.com

emoticon Blogging
emoticon Committing and recommitting to the program
emoticon Tracking, posting and otherwise earning SparkPoints

Anyway, best of luck, Traci, and I hope to see you around the boards some more!
