I'm gonna win this food fight!

I can't believe that, after having a baby at age 39, I lost all of my "baby" weight plus. Then, just out of pure laziness I guess, I it all gained back again!

I really want to get back to a healthy & attractive weight - my husband wants that for me, too! I joke that "I'm in shape - round is a shape!"; but it's just a cover because I'm truly too round.

My Goals:
It's simple - I want to lose the weight I gained back, & be the size person that my body type/shape should be.

My Program:
 I need to be accountable, or I'll find every excuse to "cheat". I plan on posting & finding friends who'll help keep me on track.

Personal Information:
I've been married since 1985, & in 2003 we had our own miracle when I finally gave birth to a child! He's a handful, but I wouldn't trade him for anything...most days! :)

Other Information:
 Hey - if anyone is interested, I wrote a book! It's called "Katy & Shari: Adventures in Friendship". If you're interested, just search for it on any bookstore site.

Yea I hear you! We were supposed to buy a house last year too. That was our plan. We spent months looking for a house. Driving back and forth from Broward up here. We were all set and pre-approved to get government assistance through a first time home owners program. They were going to pay our closing costs and down payment. We finally found a home and even had a closing date set. Then 2 weeks before our closing date the mortgage broker called us and said that the government suspended the program and they were not sure if it was coming back or not. How messed up is that! We already had everything scheduled. We tried to get a loan from the banks without the program but no one would approve us because all of their requirements got stricter due to the bad economy. So, we had to frantically look for a house to rent that would allow all of our pets. We finally found this place and have been renting for now. I still would like to buy but not sure if we can right now.

Oh wow that is close! I shop that way alot in St. Lucie West. We moved up here from Broward County 10 months ago and we love it up here!

I know what you mean. I wonder how I do it too with 3 kids ages 7,2 and 6 weeks!!! Plus working weekends. Ahhhhh! Sometimes I want to pull my hair out. Oh yes and hubbys take up alot of time. LOL!

Hi! I notice that you seem to be the only one active in the PSL Florida group. I wish it was more active so I could meet other people who live in the area. I see other cities and states having fun sparkpeople get togethers and events. Our group doesn't seem very active at all. I just thought I would say hi and see if we could maybe get things rolling again.
