Back again....
I want to be healthier, have more energy and enjoy life completely. My weight has been a roller coaster all my life. I'm determined to stop that ride. Even when I was younger and doing gymnastics through high school, I was heavier than most. I didn't worry about my weight, never really thought about it. I want to be healthier, have more energy and enjoy life completely. My weight has been a roller coaster all my life. I'm determined to stop that ride. Even when I was younger and doing gymnastics through high school, I was heavier than most. I didn't worry about my weight, never really thought about it. Getting out of school and a job really reduced my activity and the weight piled on. 12.27.12 - I'm back, never should have left. After dislocating my ankle almost 2 years ago, I managed to keep the weight off - for a while. Then it started finding me again. This yo-yo thing has to stop. Besides the motivation to be healthier (I actually do eat that way but those damn carbs tempt me so), lower BP, etc. I have a new one. On November 1st, 2013 I will be going on a transatlantic cruise and I need to be lighter and fit for this. We will be doing a lot of sight seeing (walking) and I don't want to be huffing all the way through it. I've done the crazy diets - popcorn, jello, bananas and water during the week, everything on the weekends - and they worked but I know they were not healthy. I always laughed about "counting calories" but have finally realized it is the best way to do it. ---------------------------------------- -------------------------------------- -------- Exercise is important too. I mainly walk because the cost of a gym membership is not really in the budget. My daughters school has a track and I can use it. Of course the weather is an issue. I will do this!
