My Goals:
Specific: This week to: *Build my strength back up and focus on cardio. *practice conscious eating General and long term: To improve my general level of fitness and to decrease pain levels. Lose weight using smalller goals and resetting targets each quarter.
My Program:
Exercise, including lots of stretching to ease tightened muscles. To try to get a better nutritional profile from the foods I eat. Reading articles and other items to motivate and educate. Have fun. Slow and steady.
Personal Information:
50 year old learning to live with fibromyalgia. Live in the UK. I have used: * Some Paul McKenna books and CDs * The Gupta Programme as starting point. * A course in CBt to help me to deal with depression and as a byproduct, anxiety * The FLYlady system where I really started to learn to love myself * Sparkpeople (of course) All of these and a number of other articles and books on health and fibromyalgia have helped me to get to where I am now and many will continue to be used to improve still further. Thanks to all of those people and their work and thanks for the people who love me.
