100 pounds gone from my highest recorded weight! Size 8 jeans at 168.4 pounds, March 30, 2013.

I fit into (and bought) size 10 jeans today. And a new shirt. Here's the results. Weight: 175.2

One Step at a Time (Oh, and: Screw the Scale)
I've struggled with weight my whole life. After being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, I realized that if I don't take control of things now, pulling out of future health issues might be very, very difficult. When I first joined SP, I didn't go anywhere with it. I'm back now, and actually putting it to good use. This time, so far, so good! I've been successful so far! Before my MS was diagnosed, I had started a weight loss journey where I lost just over 39 pounds in about a year and a half. Then I went though my diagnosis period and was kind of a bit preoccupied to keep on the journey. But luckily, I only gained 5 pounds in the ~6 years since then. And now I'm back. My progress numbers reflect my current weight loss journey and don't take the previous loss into its numbers.

My Goals:

My Program:
Keeping my calorie count between 1350-1600 calories per day. Get at least 10 minutes of cardio every day, and shoot for at least 30 minutes 5 days a week. Do regular strength training, focusing on different muscle groups 6 days a week.
Personal Information:
I'm a 30-something female living in Maryland. I struggle dealing with Multiple Sclerosis, fibromyalgia, and depression. I am a classical musician (singer and violinist), and like knitting and storm spotting for fun.
