I lost weight 3 years ago the old fashioned way, counting calories on Sparkpeople. I craved the entire time, then gained it back and then some. May 2, 2015 I started Trim Healthy Mama. As of today, May 15, I've lost a few pounds. More importantly, I've lost my cravings - even when I taste carb & fat ridden foods.
Update on May 8, 2016 - I lost 18 pounds while following THM principles over several months, fell off the bandwagon, but only gained 3 pounds back. Not bad. I'm back on the THM plan and plan to keep going.

Other goals I want to do at a lower weight:
Hike the Blue Beaver Trail up Lookout Mountain.
Spend a night at the Hike-Inn.
Swim with the manatees in FL.

My Goals:
I am not going to try to attain a weight within a healthy range as defined by all of the charts. I'm striving for a weight I attained 12 years ago which was about 10 pounds over the Weight Watchers goal. That's what I think is realistic for me.

My Program:
Trim Healthy Mama.
But perfection is not the goal.
I'm tracking my food on Sparkpeople.

    Hi Nancy, thanks for the goodie and the comment on my page...You can do it too girl..I do have to admit I only eat 3 times a day and dessert/snack at night and pretty much every 4-5 hours.

    I don't really snack.

    Still have like 10 more to go would like to get to 140, but in time I'll do another fuel pull cycle.

    Just living life so haven't been on her much.

    Hi there, I hope you do not weight for a few days..give your body time to adjust, perhaps wait for a week. The book "Friend with the Scale" suggests waiting. Just a suggestion...

    TROUT, you ask and stated on 5/14/16 this:
    How much is everyone exercising? I'm walking 30 to 40 minutes a day. I intend to do yoga stretching, but mostly I forget to do it.

    THM Deb, THM Carol, YJNANA , me and others are doing a 5K on the 28th & or 29th of May. We all have Fitbits and or use Runkeeper App. Do you have a Fitbit?

    Thanks Janet, I know I can't believe I lost 40 lbs and on THM almost a year, such an easy plan for the most part. Finally found something that works for the diet tired body.
