Obviously nothing wrong with my self-esteem. lol The only thing I wish I could lose immediately is my stomach and I know I'm not alone in that feeling. :-)
5/2 Update: Now that I am only 9lbs away from my goal, I've decided to lose another 10lbs beyond that (total of 60lbs lost). Size 14s fit well on me, giving me only a little bit of wiggle room. Losing another 19lbs will probably put me at a 10/12, but closer to a 12 which is right where I wanna be. :-)
6/5 update: I know I'm supposed to take more than 1 picture, they're coming! This weekend I will take them. :-)
6/6 update: You all know I've changed my goal since I met my original goal of losing 50lbs. Now, I'm aiming to lose another 20lbs. I'll be 180lbs at that point. As of today, I'm officially 195lbs. Guess what? I can finally say I weigh UNDER 200lbs!!!!! I think the last time I was able to say that was when I was born. lol j/k
6/9 update: I am stopping all weight loss. Right now! I am going to focus on strength training & toning my body as it is. I realize I've lost a significant amount of weight in a short period of time and am now taking time out to concentrate on toning everything before I start losing weight again. I do not want to be able to tuck my skin. Right now, I couldn't tuck it if I tried.
7/6 update: 6/11/08 is my official weight lifting start date. I started out doing 3 exercises. I increased the reps, weights, added other exercises, and now lift 20lbs heavier than I did when I started. Yay!
7/16 update: I'm up to lifting 30lbs heavier and have started doing cardio again. At the point I stopped doing cardio I was burning somewhere between 4800-5000+ calories per week. Right now I'm up to around 1200 consistently. Next week, while still doing my upper body, lower body, and core workouts, I will aim for burning 2000 cals. Depending on how I do this week, I will adjust that goal.
8/25 update: I'm back to burning 5000+ calories per week and eating consistently between 1700-2000 calories per day. Every now and again I get lower than 1700 or higher than 2000, but its okay. ;-) As far as weight lifting, I've gone into maintenance mode for my biceps, back, & upper chest muscles while still lifting to increase strength/size in my triceps & lower chest muscles. I can say this.... I can now do 2 sets of 10 MILITARY STYLE pushups. Yay!
*******************MY TRACKERS***************** If you're going to look at my trackers to determine what you can eat or exercises you should do, please look at my tracker for March thru May. I was in my weight loss mode during those months and what I ate and how I exercised will reflect that. Please also pay attention to the amount of exercise I did/calories burned for that week when looking at the food for the day/week as they correlate. The more exercise I did, the more food I had to eat to keep my body from running on empty and falling out (which would have been so embarrassing since I'm always trying to be cute. lol) *******************MY TRACKERS*****************
Ultimate goals: lose the stomach & drop to size 12. I was size 18 when I started this about about a month ago and now I'm down to 16. I've recently gotten an extra boost, am back on point, & am pumpin'!!!
4/27 update: I have no idea what size I am now. lol 37-less lbs later, I think I'm somewhere between a 14 & 16. But, I'm so not sure. I think tomorrow I'll go to a clothing store & see what I can fit in. I'll have to make sure to leave my money at home. :-) I don't want to buy anything until I've hit my ultimate goal.
4/30 update: I'm currently a size 14, they're just a smidge loose....just a smidge! lol
5/28 update: My size 14s aren't fitting right anymore. Wearing 12s isn't a problem. I didn't realize that until I tried them on last night. Size 10, here I come!

P90X is just fantastic, Girl. I love TONY HORTON as he put that work out together for maximum results. My sons do it and they hate the YOGA the most. I'm still working on my goal as I won't quit.
I'm reading the BECK DIET SOLUTION, which isn't a "diet" but she teaches how to THINK like a THIN person. (Got a copy from the library.) I recommend it to everyone. (We have a support team here at Sparks.) ------------------- Hunger is never an emergency. It is only mildly uncomfortable. I can tolerate it. It will come and go. --------------------- I really do deserve credit for breaking old habits and it is essential for building my confidence. Once my confidence grows everything will become so much easier. ------------------------- If I want to lose weight permanently, I can't make exceptions. I'd rather be thinner. I can't overeat on week-ends or any other time. ----------------------- I have to develop the habit of eating every bite slowly, while sitting down, so I can fully enjoy it. It is worth developing this habit, so that I can have a lifetime of being thinner. --------------------------------- I'm not going to let any minor setback ruin everything I've accomplished. One mistake doesn't ruin my diet, but falling back into old habits will. I will recommit to my diet right here, right now! ------------------------ OH WELL! I'm going to ignore this craving. I'm going to do something and let it subside. I'm turning my attention to something else, like exercise.
