I have been overweight most of my life, but really want to lose the weight now. I just retired this last April, moved to Florida and thought I would finally have time to work on me. I have started taking a Jazzercise class 3 times a week and walk the beach 2-3 times a week (I never use to exercise at all) and started drinking more water, reduced the soda drastically (never use to drink water), but the weight hasn't come off at all. I guess I need to get more disciplined regarding my diet. Would love any help as well as motivational support to make sure it happens this time!

My Program:
Combining Results Weight Loss Program with Sparkpeople.
DNA showed I don't metabolize fat well, so cutting out all bad fats. 2-3 lean proteins, 3 fruits, 5 veggies, 2 starches, 2 dairy, 1 good fat,8 glasses of water a day. Food Journaling on Sparkpeople daily, especially tracking calories, fat, protein, and carbs. Cardio an hour a day, 4 days a week.

Born in Texas. High school and college in Colorado. Worked for JCPenney in Colorado, then Seattle,WA, then finished my career at JCPenneys at their corporate offices in Dallas, Texas. Retired in 2009. Currently splitting my time between Florida and Arkansas.
