Junior sis Allie and I are gonna win the Battle of the Bulge!... ======================================== ...And... I DID IT! I've moved the story of my SparkJourney (up to 5 February 2009) to a blog entry, here: http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public _journal_individual.asp?blog_id=1815361 As of this writing (5 March 2009), I am happy to report that thanks to SparkPeople, and to the support of my friends and family both in and outside of this community, that I have reached my goal weight of 145 lbs! I'm now the same weight I was (perhaps even a tad lower) after my son was born, nearly 15 years ago! But my journey doesn't end here. Next, I need to turn the healthy habits I've learned into life-long behaviors. And thanks to SparkPeople, I know I can do that, too! Now, it's time to maintain, and to do what I can to help and encourage others here who, like me, are working to achieve a healther inner- and outer life -- for life! Thanks for visiting my SparkPage. Hugs to you all! -- Jeannette

My Goals:
One of my teams has set a January 2010 challenge to update the "Goals" section of our SpakPages. Since I reached my goal weight (and went even a bit further) by mid-2009, my goals are now to keep the weight off, and to learn to eat healthier and healthier. To that end, I will be exploring a move into a more vegetarian lifestyle. In the end, I'm not certain that I'll embrace it 100% -- but it won't hurt to try, will it?
My Program:
I am working to achieve my goal by consuming a weight-maintaing daily calorie level, and performing daily aerobic exercise (DDR).
