Current weight 213 as of October 20, 2014

Goal is to be 160 by September 1st, 2015. Started this Journey at 247.. got to 208 but went back up to 242 2 months ago.. now down to 213 in 2 months. I think I can get to 199 by Christmas with a lot of dedication and hard work! Here we go!

My Goals:
- To be 160ish pounds by September 2015

- To be a size 5-7 before my wedding

- To exercise daily between 15-45 minutes to start

- To stay positive through out this whole journey!

- Drink plenty of water!

My Program:
Drinking more water when I feel hungry to see if I am hungry or just thirsty, eat fruits & veggies, fish twice a week, included nuts in my diet, eliminated all drinks except for coffee, tea, water and flavour water, exercise daily for 30 minutes or more.

Although I jog with my boys, the lady that I work out with just popped into my life. Hopefully you will have someone like that soon. BTW, I guess because I'm half blind, I was wrong... I didn't lose a pound. I LOST TWO! WOOT!!

I think the running is easier because my two boys are doing it with me. They're only 10 & 15, and not experienced runners either. It's nice to do it with them! Also, with the C25K program, you're only running 60 seconds and then walking 90 seconds at a time in the first week. 30m sessions, 3 x a week. I know it sounds like a lot, and a turtle could beat my jogging speed... but I'm doing it! See if you can find someone to jog with you. You can do it too!

I've only been working out for 9 days so far, but going hard and doing both nightly (6x a week) classes at the gym with friends, and then doing the Couch 2 5K with my two sons. I'm okay with a six pound loss in 9 days, and definitely seeing it in how my clothes are fitting and how my face looks. I'm sure I'll plateau but I'm gonna keep going. Loving how I'm feeling!

It's been an okay day so far, thanks for the well wishes! I stepped on my scale too... it's so volatile! One second it says I lost a pound... next time I run in to potty and step on it, it says I didn't lose a pound. Pfft! I'll wait until later in the day to see what it says again. Best of 3 rounds, right? Maybe it will be nice again and I'll think it's time to report another pound lost! Not going to hold my breath though, lol. Hope the rest of your day goes emoticon
