I am a married 43 years young, Part time working Mom of A girl and a boy, Girl in High school, Boy in middle school.I have been struggling with my weight since my son was born 14 years ago. I want to not only lose weight, but have a positive healthy outlook /Mindset about my body, and in my life.And of course look as great as I Did in my early twenties ,but that would be just a bonus!

My Goals:
Revised goal:I would like to get to about 160.For a total of 50 lbs from highest of 210.(about 10lbs to go (Gained back about 15lb. over last few years -back up to about 183 ). but also in the same respect, gain a clearer mind and and brighter spirit, so the results will be permanent, and pass it on to my family and we WILL be the healthiest/ happiest we can be!

My Program:
1) Eat more fruits and veggies 2)Eat less sweets/processed foods. (3). Exercise most days of the week (still hard)4) Find better ways to deal with stress than eat or yell.. Learning to write and TALK IT OUT! get myself and my home more organized!(7) learn to be more patient, with myself and others.(these 3 still work in progress)8) Want to go back to school, and finish degree in sciences.Work as medical assistant, or even nutritionist!Don't have timeline but it WILL be done!9) Want to be about 155lbs. which I HAVEN'T seen since mid-twenties (after first child)

Personal Information:
I am Tamara B. I live in Berkshire County , MA.I have a daughter and a son, in that order, and Husband.(so REALLY I have 3 kids ) :)Hee Hee ! Been married since 1996.

Other Information:
I enjoy spending time with my kids, family , friends .I also enjoy keeping up on health and fitness issues , concerning my family and myself.I also like to journal, and write stories or poems.Am looking to try new and different ways to prepare my favorite foods healthier, and so my kids will eat them, too.And I am always looking for new and diferent ways to exercise, because, I need to mix it up to keep things INTERSESTING,and keep my body guessing!Like crime and medical shows/ and novels.

Great to make your acquaintance..I'm a fellow sweettother too...hope we can strike up a friendship and help each other out of these treacherous woods along our path..called sweets...I've been doing well with it..not perfect..only Jesus was perfect..I still slip and fall from time to time..but with a friend. I feel we can rely on each other for support..to win this battle and others to come our way...so call on Rico and I will be there..I'll walk you through..what I've learned and you can do the same for me..love this color of purple reminds me of plums..a yummy fruit..my wife makes the best plum jellies...you got to taste it to believe it..take care and call on me....Rico emoticon emoticon emoticon and again..love to see you at the birding across America team if your into nature... emoticon good to meet you too Tami....I'm thinking you have a lot to offer no matter where your at...I'd like to hear some of your wt. loss suggestions...I'm doing ok..but just got back to sp in Oct. and had been gone for 5 yrs...long time to not care what you eat...for me it's either all or nothing...trying to find that place when I get to maintain..and keep my proper wt...hoping it's better than loosing..goto be...haha Rico emoticon

In my journey I have learned and accepted that I can only live ONE day at a time.

Some days I go nutzo and that is ok too. Slow progress is still progress!

YOU are doing great! I started higher than you and was only hoping to reach your current weight - but then I just kept on going!
