THE CHAMPIONSHIP

This is my championship life I am embarking on. I was born in 1961 have enough experience on where I've been and time to experience where I will be.

I am participating in the Fall 5% Community Challenge. This will be the 2nd time I am participating in the weight loss challenge. I am a member of the Runners Walkers Joggers and Gadgeters Team. I am planning to eat more protein and vegetables. Reduce my carbs all the while staying within calorie range.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and you are right, I would have been fussing at myself if I missed that run.

Thanks for stopping by my page to read my blog and for your comments. Today is day 1 of change (again). I've had a lot of "day 1's" but hopefully this will be the start of a more successful journey.

I am taking laundry room shelves down and you are putting them up LOL! I love my new little base cabinet in there. I was always to short to reach anything on the shelf above the washer.

Aren't projects FUN!?!?!

Sweetney, What you are doing in terms of your eating sounds really good and balanced and your workouts look awesome. I did my fruit smoothie this morning with two scoops of protein powder and had two boiled eggs. My body is really sore today, but it feels good. You should try to sleep in when you are on vacation. I know a lot of times when folks go on conferences they tend to party and stay up late, especially after their presentation and workshops are done, but I do the opposite now and sleep in because I don't have to feed the dog, other pets, and take care of my family first thing in the morning. (Family comes first.) I hope you enjoy New Mexico. It should be nice and sunny when you go there. We are planning a vacation summer in Maine, but I am trying to revise a series of stories and may go to a conference in New York to pitch my work, after I publish it (I am trying self-publishing for the first time. I have only published chapters in books, so we will see). But, seriously, Maine is awesome, and I love seafood!

Mother Teresa came to my church about twenty years ago. Our Priest had sung for. He r in India when she was ill and she promised to visit his parish. It w as a weekday afternoon and the church was, as you can imagine packed. There she was a tiny little old woman in her sari and a blue cardigan, so small and ordinary. I thought I would share this with you because of the quote you posted. Enjoy your holiday and have a blessed Easter.
