Hi everyone. I am finally getting around to editing my page here. The last year has been great. I am much stronger and working out/fitness is just a way of life now. My main struggle this last year has been my food consumption. I have really had difficulty giving up sugar and high fructose corn syrup. I have finally implemented a mediterranean diet plan. It is really working and getting all the right oils in my diet regularly is the key. I have just started this eating plan and it will take some time to learn and make into a long term habit but I am dedicated so all is well. I am 5'1.75", weigh 119 lbs and am 43. (I think everyone on here should post their exact height, weight and age. It creates a better perspective because the three are a huge factor in physical health.) My body seems to really like to stay in this weight range. I wanted to get down to 115 lbs. but am not sure this is realistic without consuming the exact right foods. And of course, muscle weighs more than fat and I don't want to be too thin. By sticking to my new diet plan, I am sure I will find my ideal weight in the next month or so. I will keep you posted. My new exercise love is www.crossfit.com. I have just recently started doing their workouts and they are a true challenge. Of course, I am always trying to kick it up a bit. I will post some new pictures very soon. I wish everyone motivation and success. Of course, eating right and keeping in shape has its challenges and that is why I am here.

Fitness Minutes: 1,080

My Goals:
My goal here is to improve my nutritional intake, get my abs to where I want them and lose that last 3 pounds if that is what it takes to get my abs where I want them.


My Program:
I had a personal trainer for almost a year (Lex, she is a wonderful spirit) and stopped working out with her a few months ago. I know for the long term I need to take responsibility for my own physical health. I have been working out on my own for the last few months and have been doing great. Lex did a great job and got me on the right track to fitness. I am so grateful for spending the time with her that I did. She enhanced my life tremendously and I will always be grateful for how she changed my life. I am lifting weights 2-3 times a week and get in at least two days of cardio. Recently, I have started using crossfit training to kick up my endurance. I am excited about what that will bring to my overall look but know the workouts will be gruelling. I want to at least lift weights three times a week and do three days of cardio. With other obligations that is not always easy but I strive each week to achieve. I have decided that the mediterranean diet is the way to go and am

Right now I am mostly focusing on taking care of myself. Incorporating all the elements to a healthy lifestyle is time consuming but worth it.
