Up until about age 43, I had no weight problems that were not self correcting.

I am dysthemic; I have SAD, aka Seasonal Affective Disorder and PTSD! I take daily medication and do 'talk therapy' at least 2x/month , more as needed.
12/1/10 - I am still struggling to live within my means. I told my family I couldn't give Christmas presents to anyone - not family, not friends!
1/1/11 - Curves was the next thing to fall to 'living within my means'. I will miss it ...

I no longer have a landline, or a monthly cell phone bill. I get prepaid minutes for my cell 'phone. I don't have cable TV.

My Status,1/7/2012
"SUNNYWBL is working hard to push herself out of the dumps and back on track."

I am slowly building up my activity level into weight loss mode again. I want to start working on weight loss again through Spring, Summer and EARLY Fall. The majority of calories burned in spring and summer in 2012 have come from renovating the back yard gardens.

From a low of 145 pounds in 12/2010 I am back to around 160 pounds and need to RE-LOSE the weight. Aauuggh!

I'm sorry to say I have regained some of the weight I'd lost. 1/6/13

Hi Sunny, I don't know exactly how to answer "how does that work" but Adam uses chinese medicine techniques to "read" what the body neeeds...then uses tiny amts. of specific essential oils applied to acupuncture points. I go once a week for 30 minutes. I also have small vials of essential oil blends Adam has created specifically for me which I apply as often as I can think to do it. His website is HerbalHealthandWellness.com. I have requested pain relief blends for three of my friends and tested it on a third...and all have had success with it.

"Three of the most powerful words in the English language are 'I AM RESPONSIBLE.' It's tough to do, but when the day comes that you can say those words, believe them, and mean them, it will be the most liberating moment of your life. Taking responsibility for all of your results, for better or for worse, is taking back your power to create results in your life."

Thanks for the comment on my blog but to be honest I have lived most of my life without eating breakfast and without eating during the day. A few years ago I saw a nutritionist who told me that I was starving myself and then binging at night. To get myself to eat breakfast constantly has been a challenge, the biggest challenge has been to eat 3 meals a day. For too long have I lived with, 'oh I feel hungry, well I'll just drink some water and it will go away.' I am really trying to change how I think about eating and trying to eat more frequently but there are days that I just slip back into old habits.
