2011 This is my Year

Hi, I'm Sue I am 44 and live in Massachusetts, I have two kids a daughter 21 and Son 22. I currently drive a school van for our town, and I am studying to become a Graphic Artist. I've struggeled with my weight since I was a child. In getting older I fear for my life, My Grandmother died at 52 a big woman with diabetes, I don't have diabetes YET. I'm sick of being fat. I am sick of feeling bad in a bathing suit! sick of looking at my legs and seeing two tree trunks, sick of never having jeans ...

I've struggeled with my weight since I was a child. In getting older I fear for my life, My Grandmother died at 52 a big woman with diabetes, I don't have diabetes YET. I'm sick of being fat. I am sick of feeling bad in a bathing suit! sick of looking at my legs and seeing two tree trunks, sick of never having jeans fit me because of my legs.

I lost 40 lbs from July 08 to May 09. I then went away for the summer and even though I joined a fitness center there I still kept gaining weight. Here I am back at the size I was last July. I'm so angry with myself.

I am back and wieghing in at more then ever before in my life. I now have about a person to loose to be "average" So today Jan 2, 2011 I begin again. Recording the food, eating healthy and going to the gym. I just have to do this or concede to dying young. I don't want to be trapped in this body anymore!
First goal.... 10 lbs by Feb 2.

WELCOME BACK! In 1 month you will be glad you came back and got back on track. I am here to cheer you on. I have to commend you on losing the 40 to even start with... the closest I have come is 30. I then gained it back. WE all have done that. But your back and today is what matters!
Love and prayers
Sherlyn

Congrats on the 4000 minutes. Keep it up. You are not alone in not waning to eat bad things. We can do this. We are retraining ourselves.

Keep it up Sue, you know that this plateau you have hit will change if you stay consistent. BTW, hide your scale in the garage or an outdoor shed, so you have to walk to it to weigh in and then maybe it won't pre-occupy your mind so much. Remember that exercising helps improve our mood so don't let the scale weigh you down!! emoticon
