My Health Journey

**After surpassing my goal, I have now gained back EVERY bit of weight I lost.

I'm working on taking better care of myself again. My goal is to be as healthy as I can. It's frustrating to be back at the larger size but I know that I can do better.

I've got to manage stress better and make the commitment to consistently CHOOSE health over comfort.

Thank you so much for your kind words on my "Being Normal" blog. You are so right that as long as I don't lie to myself I will get through this as well.

Completing a 5K to some of us seems like an unattainable gaol at times, but even if you have to walk the whole thing, that is a goal in itself. i remember when I was at that point. i did start the Couch to 5K program from active.com and was able to jump start my progress. I haven't finished the complete program, but I have re-started it several times and each time, I have done a little better.

I am sure you will do great when the time is right for you to have a 5K as a goal. Its taking that first step that can be hard, but everything after that gets easier. emoticon
