My Goals:
Weight of 9-9.5st. To be able to walk uphill without being the last person and sounding like Thomas the Tank Engine!
To be flexible again. To be able to sit on my feet without my knees exploding.

My Program:
I switched to the 5:2 fast diet in March 2013, mostly to help reduce my considerable cancer risk. Then switched again in November 2013 to alternate day fasting, as I found two days a week was not enough for me to lose weight. I still follow the golden rules of Paul McKenna on my non fast days, as he has served me well, assisting me to lose 50lbs.

Other Information:
I like all animals but especially cats. I am keen on cross stitch, and gardening. I like steam engines. I dislike religion, I am an atheist.

It HAS to be better than here. I'm fine with accents, but the grammar kills me! My 1st grade daughter comes home with written lists of grammatical errors by her teacher, and she's always correct. The newsletters and notes he are atrocious. My husband an I do with the kids and correct them as a game.
You can't be in a worse place grammatically!

I'm watching "Charlie and Lola" with my daughter...she's probably too old for both the show and books at 7, but we love these kids. We are SO coming to the kids need to have adorable, intelligent accents! Lol!!

Yes! I agree wholeheartedly!! I envy those with faith...if there is a God (He gets capital letters...just in case! Lol!!) why brains? More self-directed, why, if He wants followers, yet created us, would he give us the "gift" of doubt??
I've prayed for the gift of faith. It's yet to come. The Bible says "Ask and it will be given to you" (Matthew 7:7)...I've asked. I'm still dubious. If this were a truth, why would such a pure request, one to open one's heart and mind to true belief, be denied.
I'm just hoping that, if God and Heaven exist, having a kind, generous, loving heart is enough. Otherwise, I'm outta luck..

Thanks for messaging me and commenting on my blog. It's so nice to know I'm not alone! Your Spark Page really drew me to comment. Your reference to "Thomas" (he's the cheeky one! Lol!) brought not only commiseration (I'm tired of huffing and puffing as well) but many sweet memories of my (now 9 yr old) son. He's on the Autism Spectrum, and, as many on the spectrum do, he LOVED Thomas. I could probably pay off our house with his trains! Lol! Not really, but he has so many!
And I appreciate that you're an atheist. I'm not. Quite. I have a ton of issues with religion, yet don't argue when my husband takes the kiddos to church each week. I guess I'm agnostic...questioning everything. It's nice to meet someone who relies on herself instead of leaving all up to God, or gods, or a higher power, etc.
