My name is Stacey and I am a recovering food addict! Every time I think I have my addiction under control it rears its ugly head. I am married and four wonderful children. I just finished my last semester in nursing school and recently passed my boards.....but thanks to my food addiction, stress and lack of time I have gained all the weight I previously lost and some more. If you had asked me two years ago if I thought my battle was over and my food bondage broken I would have said YES….but the truth is it will always be a battle and I can not for one moment forget that!
I have reset all my previous goals and am starting from DAY 1. Until I read the SPARK......I didn't really understand counting my days! Now I do understand DAY 1 is for me and no one else..........DAY 100 is for me and no one else! If someone is encouraged by my DAY 1 or any of my DAYS after that........I will count it all JOY in knowing that my obedience has BLESSED those around me.
I am who I am because CHRIST lives in me! I want my temple to bring him honor! My weight-loss is for his glory.
I can not do this alone........so please feel free to join me along the way......our paths did not meet by accident.....lets help each other to succeed!

My Goals:
1. No Sugar
2. Drink 8 glasses of Water daily
3. Exercise at least 3 days a week for 30 minutes or more
4. Eat more vegetables and fruit daily
5. Eat two healthy snacks a day
6. Stay within my calorie range of 1200 - 1500 a day

Slow and steady wins the race!


My Program:
I am mainly just using Sparkpeople.com to reach my goals why fix something that isnt broken. I previously lost 21 pounds by using this awesome site although I gained all of it back and more thanks to the stresses of nursing school.


Personal Information:
I live in a small town in Texas called Gordon! My family and I attend the First Baptist Church in our town. My husband and I have four children ranging in age from 12 to 4 years old.
We love doing things as a family such as camping, fishing, road trips and just watching T.V. Family is very important to us......
That is one of the reasons I have for losing weight. I dont want my kids to have to battle food addiction all their lives. I want to learn to cook healthy great meals in hopes that they will one day do the same.
