I Love to Walk and Bike

Hi - I'm Pat and I've joined SP on the advice of my nutritionist. I love to walk, garden and read. I've been in and out of SP since 2007 but see real improvement in my nutrition when I'm doing SP consistently. I know I have to log my food choices and exercise. This is my year. I can feel it and I will succeed!

What is that sitting on the sign? A little man?

Oddly enough, my wife asked the same thing. She saw a little man too.

Weird.

It's an Arctic Tern. I think.

I don't see how you (or She) got a little man, but since I took the picture, I cannot unsee the bird.

Thanks for your comment on my 15 mile blog.

I recommend Jeff Galloway if you are interested in adding distance to your runs quickly. I just started running again about one year ago, after many many years off. His method allows you to add distance without being full of aches and pains, and some people can do it with impressive speed. I'm not so much about speed, but the walk breaks really don't slow you down.

Good luck with your runs. I certainly am enjoying getting back into it again.
