My name is Stephanie, and I'm a 22 year old recent graduate. I used to be in amazing shape in my teens but thanks to a mystery illness, 2 weeks in the hospital that resulted in the removal of my gallbladder, and 20 lost through being sick - the weight decided to settle wherever it felt like it... and not at all proportionally.
I've had a problem in the past of being a "binge gym-goer" where I get motivated for like 4 days, and then stop. Well I'm trying not to do that anymore.
I've recently moved into the real world and am battling adult things like rush hour traffic, office politics, trying to get into graduate school (SUCCESS!!! I'll be starting in the fall!), and balancing work, a social life, and working out.
* Drink 8+ glasses of water a day
* work out 30min-1hour a day, including stretching/flexibility work, strength training and cardio
* STAY MOTIVATED!

to used to Cheer/Dance/Gymnastics!
Hey, weight happens. I cheered in HS & College, and did dance & gymnastics 5x/wk in HS, too. That's part of our weight gaining problem, really. We used to be SO athletic, that when we stop doing all that stuff, all the time, our body's metabolism slows down too. Now that we have "real" lives & "real" jobs, we have to make time to work out, on top of everything else. We also are not provided with healthy meals, unless we prepare them in advance for ourselves. Eating out packs it on - I know. I went from 105 in college, to 130 (post baby), and then up to 150. I am proud to say that after taking my lunches to work & making it to the gym a Minimum of 3x per week, I have lost 3" off the waist in the past 6-7 weeks. I'm not "skinny" yet, but I can wear a bikini, and feel comfortable with myself in it. Being comfortable in your "adult" skin, is another big challenge. Don't let the weight be your only guide. When I was 130, I was toned, and a size 4.
