New to SparkPeople but a Veteran to the struggle. Two and a half years ago I maxed the scale out at a whopping 305lbs. My body had stopped processing sugar correctly and I had become borderline diabetic with a blood pressure that was at stroke level. My body had stopped processing sugar correctly and I had become borderline diabetic with a blood pressure that was at stroke level. One day I had a total breakdown and something finally snapped inside me and I knew if I didn't change then, I would never be able to be the happy, healthy person that I wanted to be. I joined Weight Watchers and started exercising and dropped my weight down to 165lbs! Not only that, but my blood pressure was back to normal and I was as healthy as ever!

Life was great until complications with blood clots came into my life. After surgeries and multiple hospitalizations, I had been bed-ridden and horribly depressed on and off for about 6 months. Unfortunately, between depression and the stress of having my boyfriend move from PA to RI, I have gained some of that weight back. But now I'm back in the act and I'm ready to get my life back, and my sexy curves back! I did it once, and I know I can do it again!
