Thank you so much for your support! People like YOU are the reason I stay on SP, even for the days when "I'm just pushing the buttons".

Time to rise above the disappointment and get back to work!
Shoulders back, head tall. Into the abyss!!

Hi Shannon! Grandkids are growing up too fast. I am sad to hear your two grandsons moved away. I totally understand the feeling. I was very sad this summer cuz my son and his wife and their two kiddies living here in Washington moved back to California. So all of our 5 grandchildren live in California now. Boo Hoo. But it was a good move for them and they are very happy. Now hubby and I have to wait til he can retire (3 to 5 years) before we will move back to California too. I want to live near my family but I don't really want to leave Washington.
Soooo, with that going on and me getting past the hysterectomy...it has been a trying year. Needless to say I kinda gave up and so gained some weight back. aarrgghh. I needed some time to just be.
I'm doing a 100 day weight loss challenge right now and so far have been on track and even started jogging again. Just trying to keep busy!
How are things going for you? Training for the marathon. wow!!!!
Good for you!!!!! That's great your granddaughter is taking your Tai Chi class. That must be really fun!
Fall time is almost here. Our summer has been warmer and sunnier than normal so it has been so nice.
Hope all is going well for you.
Your SparkFriend, Janice emoticon

Funny, I was just wondering what you were up to :) I hadn't seen you on the friend feed recently. Glad you stopped by. Hope the Red Sox are doing better than the Diamondbacks...YIKES! Haven't watched much BB this year...studying for my board exams for the past 6 months. Caught a little of the Little League world series this week as DH watched while I studied. Hard to root for one team over another since they are all kids.

Thanks for asking about my race. It was definitely not my best at all. In fact the very competitive runner in me is disappointed. Oh well, I came, I ran, I finished! I have my second half marathon on the 24th to keep training for.
