2015? What the H*ll happened to 2014??

Okay, in actuality, I would like to know what happened to the last five years. I had to take care of an elderly aunt with dementia. With taking care of her, I stopped taking care of myself. In the fall of 2013, she passed and I thought I could start to get myself back on track. In the spring on 2014, my stepfather got sick and ended up in the hospital. He passed in May. Since he passed I had been spending a lot of time with my mother. She and I would go out to eat almost every day. That ...
Okay, in actuality, I would like to know what happened to the last five years. I had to take care of an elderly aunt with dementia. With taking care of her, I stopped taking care of myself. In the fall of 2013, she passed and I thought I could start to get myself back on track. In the spring on 2014, my stepfather got sick and ended up in the hospital. He passed in May. Since he passed I had been spending a lot of time with my mother. She and I would go out to eat almost every day. That got old real quick, but thankfully, my weight didn’t increase. Unfortunately, with all that has been going on depression has been able to take a hold of me again.

Now, after spending a lot of time with my mother, I have noticed that she is forgetting a lot of things. Of course, she is “nothing like her sister” which causes more stress in my life, because if causes me more worry. But what can I do?

I have made a decision to again change the way I eat. Carbohydrates and I are really good friends and I need to change that a bit. I will still eat them, but not like I did.

I also need to start exercising more. I do a lot of walking at work, but I want to start doing more. I really just have to start buckling down!!

Personal Information:
My name is Patti and I am originally from NY but I now live in Waterford, CT, via Tucson, AZ. I was a teacher, but after 20 years, I decided I didn�t want to do that anymore. Currently, I am working part time at DSW. I keep hoping that a full time position will come along and I will be able to have only one job that comes with benefits!!!

Other Information:
I love to read. An author I have been enjoying is Beverly Lewis. She writes about Amish families. They are very interesting because you learn something about their culture as you are reading. I also like other authors who write about Amish families.

I would love to visit Lancaster, PA, Amish Country, again, but I don't think I could pass up on all the homemade food that is there.
