weigh in at Holy Cross KP, MD was 182.2

Reviewed progress. 19 lb weight loss was considered excellent. My next visit is in 8 more weeks and they hope to see 40 more pounds down.
The scab over a wound on my left side is flatter. They will check on that at my next appointment, but expect it to resolve.

I can discontinue the prilosec in a week as it will be 2 months and I do not have reflux. I continue to use a quarter of a banana to make the protein drink. Have been taking the daily multivitamin, B-12 a couple of times a week, Actigall 3 times a week. Just started my diuretic combo blood pressure pill since I cannot avoid my mother all the time. My BP was 115/63 today with a pulse rate of 83.

Have been walking 3-4 times a week for an hour. Can now bike, swim, do aerobics, and mild weight lifting. Can return to gym.

Added poultry and low carb vegs. Still have to total 70 grams of protein a day and less than 30 carbs per day. aim to keep the calories below 600.

My Goals:
START: 11 March 2015. weight 235.9

FOURTH GOAL is 180 by May 15

FIFTH GOAL is 170 by June 15

SIXTH GOAL us 160 by July 15

FIRST GOAL IS TO GET UNDER 225 by 25 March 2015 DONE 211 March 25 pre-surgery

SECOND GOAL IS TO stay on high protein liquid diet until 22 April 2015 DONE

THIRD GOAL IS TO GET UNDER 200 DONE April 19.



final goal is to be under 120.

My Program:
1) strictly observe liquid protein diet for a total of 5 weeks DONE
2) daily 30 minute walk from 1 March 2015 to 25 March DID NOT MEET THIS CONSISTENTLY

Walk 10,000 steps daily

3) increase time of walking to 4 times a day following surgeons recommendations from 26 March 2015 until reaching goal weight
4) using my gym membership when given the ok by the surgeon
5) Watching what I eat and recording it as best I can following sleeve protocol diet.


Other Information:
Love to cook and modify favorites to make them less calorie dense without giving up what makes the food great to start with. In other words, fake ice cream isn't worth it to me, but I can make a low fat smoothie that won't miss the extra fat and sugar.
