Run a mile (at least!!)
Touch my toes with my legs closed
Cross my legs at the knee
Do a situp!
Do a pull up!
Be one of those "crunchy people"
Take a martial arts class
Kick butt! Both my own and other people's!!

Other than that? Um...not sure, when I know I'll put it here!

My Program:
Right now, I'm just making small changes that will add up to big ones. So for now, I'm not eating out at all, and I'm incorporating more leafy veggies into my diet.

Oh, and I'm getting some sort of exercise every day, even if it's not in a gym.

Personal Information:
I'm a 4th generation Texan, living in the Dallas area.

I'm somewhat of a nerd, but in a good way I think.

I garden, watch Scifi, hang out on sparkpeople, work, work out (sporadically, but getting better), cook, play with the dog, meditate (sortof), flirt with running...hmm..idk what else....

Other Information:
No matter how slow you are, you're still faster than the person on the couch.

Hi - noticed your posts in Martial Arts for Women, followed to your Spark Page, and blown away by your most recent blog post. Added you as a friend; hope you will do likewise.

I am still 30+ lbs. away from the 200 mark and already sweating it!! (I had been 20 lbs. away last fall, having lost 80 lbs. total at that point, and backed off fast -- 20 lbs. was just too close, I knew I could do that, and fairly quickly.)

I really appreciate your honest appraisal of what's going on under the surface, and feel it definitely applies to me in many ways. Hope this self-awareness will help me continue healthy weight release.

Also great to hear about another woman in class with teenage boys doing TKD!!! I share a lot of your experiences there, too, albeit with 51-year-old knees, muscles, etc., etc... : )

Great comment on my caramel popcorn blog! It has really helped me lift the gilt off of myself for dumping that stuff. Now the question is, should I give it away or just throw it away?
