How did I get back here?
Hello Fellow Sparks : ) It has been awhile since I have been active on Sparkpeople. Without any real explanation or excuse, I have gained thirty plus pounds in less than five months. Doctors have no idea and trust me I have searched everywhere for a reason. Never the less, here I am at almost 200lbs! This is the heaviest I have ever been without a baby in my tummy. Well I spent a month of just pure shock and devestaton. I worked so hard at my weight loss and maintaining it. ...
Hello Fellow Sparks : ) It has been awhile since I have been active on Sparkpeople. Without any real explanation or excuse, I have gained thirty plus pounds in less than five months. Doctors have no idea and trust me I have searched everywhere for a reason. Never the less, here I am at almost 200lbs! This is the heaviest I have ever been without a baby in my tummy. Well I spent a month of just pure shock and devestaton. I worked so hard at my weight loss and maintaining it. I felt defeated. So for the first time in four years I took a month off of everything, dieting, exercise etc. I gained an additional five pounds and finally pushed to the limit. So I am here but I am not staying here. I got approval from my doctor to begin exercising again. Today ( 11/7/11) I started again. I woke up this morning and walk/jogged in my living room for about forty minutes. It felt good but I know I have so much further to go. Since I have lost weight before, I am determined to do it again. I can do it! This time I will document my journey better than the first time so I can help others. So much of this is a lifestyle change and the basics I already have, a good healthy diet with five fruits and veggies a day and no white food ( rice, bread etc.) I now have to focus on increasing my water, exercise etc. I WILL DO THIS!!!

My Program:
A journey it has been :) I have tried lots of programs and have taken the best of all of them and making them work for me. I put Christ first in all that I do, workout 6 days a week, include strength training, try not to eat white foods, wait until I am hungry and eat withing moderation. Yep thats the plan, eat better, exercise and continue to pray for discipline : )
Personal Information:
I am 39 years old and love family, friends and the Lord. I spend my spare time ( who has that?) reading Christian fiction, watching Biggest Loser and participating in numerous church activiites.
