What you get by achieving your goals is as important as what you become by achieving your goals.
This quote from Henry David Thoreau is the motto for my journey. What will I lose? What will I gain? What will I become through it all? As much as January 1st makes me want to try something new, Spring makes me want to do the same. Except this time it isn't new, but start again. I have to focus on being healthy and realizing it's always going to be a learning process. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

My Goals:
My primary goal is to get to and stay at my perfect weight. My weekly goal is to eat more fruits, veggies and lean protein. My short term goal is to lose 10 pounds by Spring 2013. My long term goal is to get to my goal weight by July 2013.
My Program:
Stay active during my days. Exercise 5 days a week. Get a cardio/strength training program going that works for me. No sweets.
Personal Information:
I'm 45 - happily married, mom of 3 great kids. I want to lose about 23 lbs.
Other Information:
I love to read, write, go for walks, garden, create, vacation, go to movies, work with kids, listen to music (especially music created by my husband and kids)
