You are right! We can do it! We've both proved that and it's very encouraging to know that we aren't too old, or too fat to keep going! I'm so happy to have had you with me on this journey and stayed friends all this time! I'm not walking every day with hubby because my foot really starts hurting after about 1/2 hour of walking (my doc thinks I may have tarsal tunnel, we're checking into that), but I am doing exercise every day, usually a step video or strength/cardio video. I also do some yoga/stretching stuff on a regular basis. Food-wise I'm kind of allowing myself a few freedoms that I wasn't doing before the wedding, but I'm ready to get buckled back in and continue the serious weight loss. I've maintained within 3 pounds though. I joined the healthy cooking challenge because that seems to be my biggest downfall lately, I just hate being in the kitchen at night for some reason! So I'll figure that out and get back into the swing. The fiber challenge was really helpful, it opened my eyes to the fact that I really wasn't getting enough fiber and that actually started the scale moving downward again! The Skinny Jeans challenge also got me started on a regular exercise routine and so I highly recommend that or something like it to get moving. I tend to do better if I have to check-in somewhere every day and I feel a sense of accomplishment for having completed it. I'm so glad you're doing well and I hope we can continue to encourage each other. Hang in there - it feels so good!
