Journey Home

I'm here to lose weight, and get back to my myself, the way I think of myself although I haven't been thin for a very long time.
I have 3 kids, all of whom have left home, and have been amazingly happily married for over 25 years.
I have never done much online before, and am looking forward to meeting people who share the same weight loss goals. None of the other members of my family are overweight, although my daughter diets with me.

"It starts with a dream, add faith,
and it becomes a belief.
add action, and it becomes part of life.
Add perseverance and it becomes a goal in sight.
Add patience and time and it ends with a dream come true."

Have a great Thursday

Good night
Sleep tight
Wake up bright
In the morning light
To do what’s right
With all your might unknown

Thanks for the goodie Shirley. Things are good but I have to admit I haven't been cooking and eating well. Things are crazy busy at work over the last while and I have been too tired by the time I get home to do much but flop in front of the TV. Hope you're doing well.

Shirley, thanks for my Spark Goodie. You are more than welcome. I can't begin to imagine what you are going through. It was hard when I lost my DH, but we did know that it was near the end when Hospice was called in. Just take a day at a time, and don't let anyone tell you how to grieve. It is an individual thing, we all grieve differently. I myself had delaid grieving, I wouldn't let myself grieve at first. Seems like every year is harder for me, May 1st will be 4 years since DH was called to Heaven, and it isn't any easier. So PLEASE find your own way of grieving, and it will be better for you and your loved ones and friends.
Big hugs
Marsha/FL
