Hello there! I'm trying to incrementally lose weight. SparkPeople is the first (and only) site in a long time that's actually had me come back- whether its for the articles, or the message boards, or just the calorie tracker... I can't stay away!

Behind the Name:
I like to role-play a lot, and the name Shinako is that of a character of mine.. a high spirited, high energy young woman whose got a strong outlook on life.



Goals:
As you can see in my goals section, I've reached my initial goal of going under 200 lbs. I would eventually like to end back up to my pre-pregnancy weight of 140lbs. (That was over 7 years ago!) Ultimately, I'd like to end up somewhere in the range between 110 and 130. My short-term goal is 160lbs for now, though.




Non-Weight Goals:

- Resize, or get a sizer, for my rings because they're so small!

- Fit into the pants I bought when I first got pregnant with my son, specifically because "they were loose" at the time.

- Fit into lingerie I never thought I could fit into!

- When I'm naked and sitting down, I'd like to see my groin when I look down.

- Run/jog a full 5K!

My Program:
I try to do a 1 mile walk/jog 5 days a week. In addition to that, I try to add a little something extra to those one mile "trips"- something new each day!

In addition to that:
- I weigh in every Wednesday... IN MY CLOTHES!

- I try to take measurements at every 10lb milestone.

Yes, I am still in Palm Bay, moved a mile from where I was living.

Was not happy and my lease was up, so I moved to a Condo. I really
like it. It's a bit more $'s so I have to watch my spending, not easy
with things constantly going up.

But managing. I think I can do it for a year, then see how it goes.

How is your son and hubby doing? Are you still in Rockledge?

How cool that you used to be on the BLC Golden Phoenix team! Too bad we weren't on it at the same time. I am continuing on for the next round, which starts in early June. Right now we are having a little break challenge, for those of us that still want to be active. Not nearly as intense though!
Bummer about the treadmill at the gym!
