Hi there! I'm Mel! :) I moved here from Seattle to work at an awesome little toy company in Claremont and see some sunshine. I was a really active sparker from March-June 2011 and managed to lose 20 lbs before I fell off the bandwagon. I've gained it back, so here we go again. I have a Fitbit and I love it! It's the main reason I was absent on Sparkpeople, but now they're integrated. YAY! Let's be Fitbit friends if you have one! (http://www.fitbit.com/user/227CVG) Work craziness during the first part of the year really knocked me off track as I sat on butt at the computer and ate and ate and ate. On April 1st, 2013 I decided that I needed to do something about this trend in the wrong direction. I want to be thin and fit and match the image I have of myself in my head! The story so far: 03/18/11 - 155 lbs 04/18/11 - 149 lbs 05/18/11 - 144 lbs 06/18/11 - 140 lbs 07/18/11 - 137 lbs 08/18/11 - 135 lbs (WOO!! GOAL MET!!) -- Break/Fitbit Migration -- 08/10/12 - 147 lbs 09/10/12 - 147 lbs 10/10/12 - 149 lbs 11/10/12 - 152 lbs 12/10/12 - 151 lbs -- New Year, New Tracking Day -- 01/01/13 - 149 lbs 02/01/13 - 150 lbs 03/01/13 - Moving into new house! No data! 04/01/13 - 157 lbs 05/01/13 - 155 lbs

How I exercise: walking with my PICs (partners in crime) Shimmer and Blake, running, cycling, indoor rock climbing How I eat: attempting to eat healthy, but sometimes life (and my favorite treats) get in the way!
