Shay'sMom

Hello, just a new mom here, Shay was born 21 August 2008, but still new at it all. I just want to lose the weight and get healthy again. My husband deploys in August sometime, bummer, but I hope to be fit and in the best shape for his safe return. I am a very active mom, I have gone back to my Army days and started working out in the morning, which has really jump started my day and I love the feeling. Accomplished. My husband deploys in August sometime, bummer, but I hope to be fit and in the best shape for his safe return. I am a very active mom, I have gone back to my Army days and started working out in the morning, which has really jump started my day and I love the feeling. Accomplished. I love to be creative and am very involved in scrap booking, crocheting, quilting and anything that I can fix for the home. I love being very economical and have decided that clothe diapers are the best for our family and it saves on the amount of diapers contributed to waste. The only I wish I had done is buy the prefitted diapers instead of the old fashioned type but I don't mind really b/c I love to save money...who doesn't really huh. I live in Germany and have for the past 5 years and we do not move back to the states for another year and couple of months at which point my husband will be out of the Army and we hope to get ourselves set up in the states. Thank you for visiting my page and any advice is welcomed here, I could learn so much as this journey is an every day challenge for me. Thank you and God Bless!

Hi Jackie,
Thanks for posting a short intro of yourself on our team. I'm an army wife as well and my husband is gearing up for his second tour in Afghanistan. He should be deploying in Feb/Mar/Apr of 2010. I'm not looking forward to it but I know that what he is doing is important. I understand how tough it can be and how lonely it is from time to time and also how hard it can be to get things done and stay motivated.
Just wanted to say that you're doing great and I hope that you find inspiration from our message board.
