Hi Christi! You should be in the Northwest instead of the Midwest right now. We are having warm spring-like weather. It looks and smells and feels like Spring already here! The trees are beginning to bloom and the flowers are popping up all over the place! Been outside working on the fruit trees to get them pruned before they blossom. Next it will be garden planning time! Yeah! Just hope our actual springtime isn't too wet or cold to do anything.
How have you been? It is good to see your page again, too. Thank you for the kind words and "applause".
When I first began going to OA meetings, there were only a handful of people who attended regularly. It has grown over the past year and a half so that occasionally there are more than a dozen people attending a meeting!
You never know what will happen. Maybe that group needed you to help it grow?
But, I'm sure the Holy Spirit will guide you to where you are most needed, whether that be sparkpeople. OA, or something completely different.
Hi Christi! I thought I would drop by and check up on ya. How's life treating you this new year? Hope things are slowing down a bit for you.
After having a wonderful holiday season and a bunch of success last year, I am looking to add to those successes this year. So far I have lost 2 lbs since Christmas and am beginning to get back on track with food and exercise. It is slow going, but getting there a little at a time. Still having trouble with the exercise portion of that equation.
I am getting more involved in church...attending a women's bible study and a weekly small group. Then I am leading a small group in one of my teams on SP. Hoping to help people out and getting to know others better.
Been trying to get some projects done around here as well. In all, keeping busy one way or another.
Drop by and catch me up on your comings and goings!
Thanks for the sleigh goodie! We had our first snowfall yesterday. Woke up to a winter wonderland. The sled will be a good help sliding around on the snow. Would go out in the snow a bit, but seem to have come down with the cold/cough and slight case of laryngitis that my DD had the past couple of weeks.
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We had fun at my son and daughter-in-law's home this year. Was able to watch the Seattle Seahawks beat the 49ers too!
