Time to name it - and claim it.

My mantra: forget skinny. I'm training to become a badass.

I want to do everything in my power to feel awesome in my own skin again.

I want to rejoice in my priceless, precious, good health.

I want to hone and refine my physical and mental strength so I can do bigger, better, badass things.

I want to be the best "me" I can be, for MYSELF... because it will spill and overflow into everything around me and create a chain reaction of awesomeness.

My Goals:
1) Make the best choices I can at any given time, in any given situation.

2) Get better sleep.

3) Maintain a lifestyle of whole wellness - mind, body, AND spirit.

My Program:
I count calories, I eat clean, and I move my body. My favorite ways to do that are to run and to dance!

The combination of eating well and moving more has given me much success... not just because they are beneficial on their own, but because they happen to line up with things I am passionate about (eating "green" and being active at doing what I love). Make your plan fit what you love, and it's a whole lot easier!

Personal Information:
Live in DE. I have a bunch of bossy cats and a ginormous Great Dane/Boxer puppydog. (It's like sharing a house with a pony on crack.) By day, I'm a humble girl friday in a law office; by night, I'm a bohemian goddess. I like the Oxford comma.

Other Information:
You must do the thing you think you cannot do.

Id like to invite you to join in my challenge to lose 10 pound in Feb The goal is 10 pounds but really u do what u can. The decision to how much is ultimately up to you. i know some of us might be saying 10 pounds? WOW, that is too much! cant do it! But i am here to tell u i did it for 7 months straight, (lost 75 pounds) b4 i got sick with cancer and had dropped out for a yr and a half. unfortunately due to lack of activity it took me 3 yrs to gain it back but im back to tell you that with your help I can do it again. if u stay within ur calories that are alotted and if u track everything that passes ur lips u can do it too. I was never one that stayed on a diet before, for more than 3 weeks at a time, and then I'd get discouraged and dropped off. i lost 75 pounds just doing calorie counting and tracking to make sure i never went over. i barely exercised ...i am handicapped and i cant do exercises in the conventional way but i flapped my arms while showering, and sitting did leg raises, went up and down my stairs whenever it struck me to do so. i did very minimal stuff. the idea was to keep moving and i did that. so i know with disipline, encouragement and motivation u can too.. so i invite u to come and join me on my 10 pound challenge!
click on link below! or if that doesnt work cut and paste it! please join me on my new journey to begin again!!

Oh my word! I'm sure that the extra protein and such will help A LITTLE, but that is still WAY too few calories. Ugh, I hope you get answers and don't have to punch him. (ha)

And thanks for the blog comments. Yeah, working through an injury... I LIKE working out, I want to keep going! Stupid foot. I don't know how you did it so long ago!!!

The recovery week is pretty good actually. Don't be scurred! It is very much the same as phase 1, just a little longer. That was what was hard there. I'm still so happy I finished though!
