Hi. My name is Shakenma.

Lifestyle not diet.

I have time to exercise.
I feel better when I exercise.
Health problems will not hold me back.
I have more strength, a better attitude after exercising.

I can make healthy food choices.
I love vegetables and fruit.
No meat.

Water is good.
I do not want to drink my calories.

I have found Spark People to be the best tool for me in this journey.

I simply make healthy food choices,exercise, track, blog and spread the Spark.

It works for me. I love it.

My Goals:
Lose 25 pounds

Drink at least 8, eight oz glasses of water a day.

Exercise at least 5 times a week.

Deal with insomnia and try to get more sleep each night.

Eat fast food less.

Not stress out so much at work. Leave work at work.


My Program:
Track food, count calories

Exercise

Be positive in my actions and thoughts

Be self motivating and empowering

Always remembering I am blessed

Be grateful for all that I have

I was given a body

I should not abuse it

I do not want to eat and drink for enjoyment alone but to build a strong, healthy body


Other Information:
I love to read.

I am learning to enjoy exercise. I am a germaphob (I think I made that word up).
I enjoy learning things about nutrition and health.

I love music, internet, family time, travel, and some t.v.

I'm not girly (I like natural beauty)....do not like shopping or make-up (no more than lipstick).

I LOVE babies. I laugh alot. I am short and bossy. I am very expressive with my face and very loyal to my family and true friends.
