My current weight is 266 pounds and I want to return to my weight of eight years ago which was 196 pounds. This means losing four stones, a big ask, but I am determined for this to happen.

I now have a CPAP machine and this has been miraculous in increasing my energy and mood. I understand it will also help with my weight loss which makes sense considering my increase in energy levels.

Steady progress to Christmas, now down to 220 pounds, but this holiday period will be challenging.

Despite gaining a few pounds I am again on track and have joined the January Jumpstart Challenge, just what I needed. Started well today with a 50 minute walk and strength exercises to finish. Slightly over on the calories but eating only good wholesome food. Watch this space !!

Looks like you are doing well at hitting your goals. I get a positive vibe from your write up here on your page. Good luck with the rest of your journey...

Ah, thanks for the Sparkmail on the Tesco/sodium. Someone once told me a long while ago to just move the decimal point to get the miligrams when the amount was in grams... so i'd have to edit all of my foods. It's lucky i'm not too bothered about my sodium intake!

I'd recommend you copy the nutritional information and add it to your own foods. :)

SparkPeople is a great place to start being healthy. Some of the things you may already know but there will be soooo much to learn also. Start tracking your food and personalize the food tracker, it becomes very easy. Hope your sleep is improving. Start getting a little exercise and tracking that. I have found after a year it really is fun. Love having you here. emoticon Debbie
