Change can be good.

I want to stay motivated and maintain a healthy lifestyle so that I can enjoy my retirement & travel with my DH. I've seen too many people retire and then just go downhill, energy and health-wise. This CAN be the best time of my life but it'll take work and commitment. I want to MAKE IT HAPPEN!

The rain isn't bad here. It rains hard for about 20 mins., then stops. An hour later we get more. Nice cool rain! Our dogs do not appreciate the thunder though. emoticon

Dena, so glad you didn't get "hurt"! So sorry for the fall!! Back pain is nothing to mess with. I have that 24/7 with the FM.
Take care and I hope tomorrow you are not feeling it at all!

Today I went over to mom's and started cleaning & got the electronics hooked up again. Spent 4 hrs. there. Ankles are even a little sore tonight. Enjoying the fans & A/C for sure! Too hot to be outdoors too long. Just took the golf cart to and from her place. That was enough for me (lol)

Have a great Monday and be careful with getting the dogs out of the kennels!! It's a great volunteer job for sure!

I remained indoors today and cleaned part of the house instead. Good way to pass the time while helping my mom up & down the step and walking. Actual heat index turned out to only be 110. My DH is putting molding at the floor level and has to cut to fit. He even slowed down and we have been drinking well. I have had heat exhaustion in the past and am more easily affected.
