I found SP while looking for a nutrition calculator and was amazed and grateful to discover that it's so much more than that.

I know from experience that making small, consistent positive changes snowballs into an avalanche of change. I didn't know that I would need to pay attention to every day if I wanted to hang on to the benefits of those changes. I didn't know that nothing is or can be allowed to be more important than health. Not studying. Not chores. Not even family ...

But I am learning that now.

i had my first surgery a couple years ago, gall bladder. I was a mess, texted all my friends/family, the "I love you man" text. Told my brother (poa of my estate) to take care of things "if I die" A girlfriend came to the hospital to "talk me down" from the emotional ledge. What a waste of my energy! Hope you don't get crazy like that. emoticon

Thanks for my smoothie. I use a NutriBullet and have veggie and fruit smoothies, sometimes with protein powder as a meal. As far as my weight, I changed my goal from 132 for 2014 to 129 for 2015 in January, and I am now under that - 126.6 this morning. However, I am thinking I'd like to go a little lower. Time will tell if it is achievable and then maintainable. So, I'll keep the smoothie, making sure it is primarily spinach, celery, cucumber, romaine, with a little fruit and almond milk! -Marsha
