Grandson is a junior this year, is in band and plays soccer and in plays. Granddaughter is a 6th grader, just starting band and also plays soccer. My son is here and lives with us. Works long hours at school as a coach at many sports and helping with the BD kids. He is also taking college courses on line for his degree. His son is a sophmore this year and plays sports and sings in choir.

I have been retired from the schoolfor 5years now but still go in and sub 2 days a week regular, and sometimes more when people are sick. Love to keep in touch with the kids and serving them their lunch.

Glad your physical went well. I had my appendix out many years ago, but that was under an emergency situation, so I have no idea what it is like to wait around for a surgery.....I do know what it's like to wait around for tests results when you think something might not be right. I just kept myself busy and distracted. Hope you find some distractions and find yourself less anxious. Have a good weekend. Making healthy choices. emoticon

How cool that you are able to get to so many games! I live much closer (in the south metro area,) but I usually only get to 2-3 games per year. I do watch most on TV though. In fact, I'm watching the KC game right now!

Hi there! I've been making it a point to stop by the pages of some of my Minnesota Twins Spark Teammates to get to know them better. Today I happened upon your page and thought I'd pop in and wish you good luck on your upcoming surgery!

I enjoyed reading your story, and hope you'll be back to cheering the Twins soon!

Thanks for reading my blog and your kind words. Your support on this journey is much appreciated. I know this journey is not an easy one and when we are not feeling well it's even harder. Don't be so hard on your self....do what you can for now and than just go back to the basics. I have done that at least 3 times since starting SP. Got side tracked, thought I could just jump right back to where I was.....failed at that so just went back to the basics, starting from where I was at the time. Less stressful that way. After a couple of weeks I felt I could up things a bit and move forward. YOU can do this when you are ready.....mind and body has to be in it. Have a great Sunday. emoticon Barb
