Good Day to all Spark People

Well it's almost been a full 10 months on the Sparkpeople site and I'm still here. I keep learning new things and am continuously surprised by how hard they work at Sparkpeople headquarters to keep this site fresh and interesting. Keep up the good work!

My Goals:
My biggest goal is to reduce my waist size to 30 inches or less. I want a waist to hip ratio of less than .80.

I also want to reduce my body fat percentage to somewhere between 25 and 30 percent.

My Program:
How am I doing it? Well, I use my fitbit religiously and although I don't get 10,000 steps everyday lately I've been getting the weekly total of 70,000. I strength train twice a week and do interval training on my elliptical machine at least twice a week. Lastly, I've started to work out using core/balance tools.

Personal Information:
Originally, I'm from Nova Scotia but now I'm living in southern Ontario. I'm an ESL teacher, in downtown Toronto which keeps me on my feet moving around.



Other Information:
I love animals, especially horses, dogs and cats.

I love hiking and the great outdoors, even when it's raining or it's cold.

Thanks for commenting on my blog and yes, I'm familiar with Craftsy. I've actually bought a couple of classes. I need to use them too!! So much to do and so little time. Looking forward to retirement!!!
