Thank you for commenting on my BLOG. Good for you in putting the chocolate mild back. There is always room for it in moderation if you really like it. Keep in mind that withholding all treats can lead to a binge so having in moderation what we truly love is always acceptable in done within our daily calories and nutrition.
I have seen a lot of hype around this fitbit lately but haven't taken a minute to look into it yet. I probably should though! Snacking at night is still really hard for me to not do but I'm trying. I think my head is messed up in the way that even if I have more than enough left in my range to have a small snack that it's going to add too many lbs back to the scale in the morning and I know that's not true. I also can't seem to get past that it is okay to eat near the top of my range too but once I just hop over the bottom half my mind screams stop at me. it's pretty frustrating 1336 days ago
I'm from a tiny little town in Canada which only has two restaurants and neither of them are very good or very nutritious so we actually don't eat out that often. The next closest town to us with any good food is half an hour away so we don't get there very often and when we do I just look up the nutritional info before I make a decision and base it off how many calories I have left, how good I've done all week so I know if I can afford to eat slightly higher in calories for that day. Saying no to eating out has actually been pretty easy so far plus I always have the constant "fat bride" picture swimming around in the back of my head and as annoying as it is, it's been helping me stay on track so far. I did some treading water, some laps, and then played a game with my kids where I held onto my youngest son and they pretended to be monsters and chased us around a few laps in the pool. I just try to move a whole bunch.. big circles with my arms if I'm stationary.. big circles with my legs if I'm treading water. Today is my rest day before i start a new week of zumba and strength training! Have a great day! 1353 days ago
