Time to Change!

I'm 29 and have been overweight/obese my entire life. I lost about 70 pounds when I first started about 3 years ago. Then, about 1.5 years ago I plateaued and over the last year have gained about 25 back. I changed up my routine and started at Farrell's kickboxing and strength training 6 days a week. I haven't lost much overall weight on it, but I have lost pounds of fat while gaining pounds of lean muscle. And, I get to punch things, so that's a win...

stumbled upon your page! i've noticed we have some very similar numbers! and we're actually about the same weight right now.

just wanted to show some support & encouragement to a fellow sparker!

i'd love to know how your weight loss journey is coming along :)

what have you been eating? how do you exercise? and most importantly has it been working? what have your numbers been like? i love getting ideas from others because it helps me out too. ask me whatever you want as well :)

Sbergman - I read through the newbie post you had posted and felt I had SO many things in common with you that it would be ridiculous not to say hello and add you as a sparkfriend. I also have a goal to loose 100 lbs by 12/31/12. I am also an accountant and spend 8+ hours a day stuck to my computer working. I have to admit, I am TOTALLY jealous of the fitness program your work has established, I am not quite so lucky.

By the end of the year I would like to never has to ask for a seat belt extension again (I've only had to a few times, but I have stopped flying (and I love to travel) because I feel so awkward)!

Keep up the good work, I'm excited to get to know you!
